20-Year-Old Raped In Moving Car On Diwali Night

Hyderabad: A 20-year-old salesgirl was allegedly raped by three men in a moving car on Sunday night at Peddamberpet. The victim, who works at a store in Hayathnagar was on her way to home when the incident happened around 9.40pm.

The suspects where on prowl in Indica car who waited for the victim and then forcefully dragged her into the car.

The trio got drunk at LB Nagar and drove Indica car (AP29UDTR0325) which is registered in the name of Chikatamalla Veerender

Hayathnagar Inspector J. Narender Goud said the accused knew the victim and waited for her to reach the deserted street to attack her.

Meanwhile, a local saw her when she was being dragged into the car. He then alerted others. Later, they intercepted the vehicle and roughed up the trio who managed to flee leaving behind the car. By the time, they already raped the girl.

The accused are - Prasad (25), Shiva (24), a car driver, and Mallesh (26), a newspaper agent.

The trio got drunk at LB Nagar and drove Indica car (AP29UDTR0325) which is registered in the name of Chikatamalla Veerender.

Goud said that Shiva used the car as a private taxi and cases of kidnap and rape have been registered and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
