2-month-old survived hudhud, but falls to cylinder blast

Cyclone Hudhud had failed to snuff the life out of the just-born kid.

She braved the torrent and the gales. Everyone called this daughter of a rickshaw-puller a lucky girl for she survived the horrific Hudhud. In fact she was born on the day the Hudhud made its landfall in Vizag.
But barely two months after she survived the cyclone, light went out of the life of the yet unnamed girl of Vizag's downtown Rangreej Street when an LPG cylinder exploded in the neighbourhood.
A piece of red hot asbestos sheet flew like a shrapnel and fell on the sleeping baby and the baby killed on Tuesday.
An inconsolable mother said she wanted to name her baby as Varshitha, as she was born amid a catastrophic cyclone.
The baby's sudden death has saddened the entire city.
