2-day fasts for Telangana in Delhi from April 29

Telangana political JAC convenor Prof Kodandaram on Wednesday said hunger strikes would be launched for two days from April 24 in New Delhi demanding Telangana state.

He said the hunger strikes would be taken up to enlighten the Central government. The national leaders would be explained on the urgency of Telangana state in view of injustice being done to people of the region. The agitation was against the Centre for ignoring its promise. Kodandaram paid rich tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar, who had favoured the smaller states and appealed to the people of Telangana to observe his death anniversary in a big way.
