17 murders, 110 injured ! - Sakshi Post

Results of the general elections were declared on May 16. Since then, 17 YSRCP activists were killed and 110 were injured in the attacks by Telugu Desam Party leaders at various places in the state.

This is the progress report of TDP in this one month period.

YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the same in assembly.

After getting the news of their party coming to power, the TDP men started attacks on YSRCP activists.

Their atrocities had started from the sacred Tirumala hills.

Trees and shops were destroyed at various places in the state by TDP men.

In Anantapur district, time bomb has been put in the house of one YSRCP leader.

Uppari Eswariah, a YSRCP activist, was attacked with knives and rods in Done town in Kurnool district. He is in a koma at present and is being treated at a private hospital.

In Anantapur district, about 2000 trees belonging to Ramana Reddy, a YSRCP activist, were cut off. The incident took place  at Podarallapalli village of Mudigubba mandal.

Cases have been booked against TDP MLA Prabhakar Chowdhury and some of his followers for destroying furniture and computers at Shilparamam in Anantapur town.

The statue of late Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy was broken with liquor bottles in Nukavarapalem mandal in Visakhapatnam district recently.

The list is not ended. The atrocities of TDP men are continuing at various places in the state and the police became mere spectators.
