15-Year-Old Girl Commits Suicide After Lover Refuses To Elope

Uttar Pradesh: A 15-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide on Monday at Shahpur by setting herself ablaze after her lover refused to elope.

According to the police, the girl was in relationship with the 20-year-old boy for some time. On Monday, the girl insisted the boy to elope her as their parents opposed their relation. But the boy refused to go with the girl. Depressed over the boy's decision, the girl set herself ablaze and committed suicide.

The police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
