1061 Teaching Posts To Be Filled In Telangana State Universities

Hyderabad: The state government will soon release a notification for the recruitment of professor, assistant professor and associate professor posts which are vacant in various universities in the state. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education held a meeting on Thursday to the discuss the process of recruitment.

The government has already accorded permission for the recruitment of 1061 posts in the 11 universities in the state in May. Of them, 692 are assistant professors, 270 associate professors and 99 professor posts. A screening test followed by an interview will be conducted for the candidates for the selection.

"Once the university receives the communication, notifications will be issued in a week," said a vice chancellor at the meeting.

The recruitment will be held for the vacancies in the universities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Telangana, Telugu, RJUKT (Basara), Open University, Telugu, Kakatiya, JNTUH, JNAFAU and Osmania University.
