Zeta-Jones Celebrated Kirk Douglas 101st Birthday

Los Angeles: Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated her father-in-law, Kirk Douglas' 101st birthday, who the Hollywood star said is a real-life hero to her. The 48-year-old actor shared a photograph with producer- director on the occasion.

"101 today! My darling Pappy on my knee. Happy Birthday to my wonderful, inspirational and loving father in law, Kirk. Love you with all my heart. #hero," Zeta-Jones captioned the picture. Father of actor Micheal Douglas, Douglas is touted as one of the last living legends of Hollywood's Golden Age.

He made his debut in the 1946 film "The Strange Love of Martha Ivers" with Barbara Stanwyck and went on to become a leading box-office star in the '50s-'60s. An Oscar-nominated actor, Douglas received the Honorary Award for 50 years as a creative and moral force in the motion picture community in 1996. (PTI)
