Zayn Malik Attempts First Hindi Song: Fans Go Crazy
Zayn Malik has shared a clip of his first Hindi song attempt, his take on a classical Khailash Kher hit song. Reports said that the star singer released the clip as part of his preparations for his upcoming Bollywood debut.
The former One Direction singer, who released his debut album Mind of Mine in 2016, has provided his own version on “Teri Deewani” by popular Bollywood singer Khailash Kher. He took to Instagram to release his first byte of a Hindi song. The clip has seen massive response on twitter, especially from the Indian fans.
In his performance of the track, Zayn is seen pairing his unique vocals with the cut down sound of an acoustic guitar.
Zayn also recently revealed that he’s working with Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire producer A.R. Rahman.
“It’s one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is”, Malik said.
“There’s definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song,” he added.
Last week, Malik released new snippets of his music on Instagram, prompting speculations that he could be gearing up for the release of his second album.
Recently he also posted four separate recordings to his 27 million followers, featuring him singing soulfully over a slow piano music.
