YSRCP workers' padayatra for Jagan's release
Ahead of the Supreme Court hearing of the bail plea of YSR Congress Party president Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy on October 5, hundreds of YSRCP activists began a padayatra in Khammam distirct today.
Headed by YSRCP district president Janardhan Reddy, hundreds of party activists began trekking from Khammam to Chilkur Balaji temple near Hyderabad seeking Lord Venkateshwara's blessings to get bail for Jagan. En route, the party workers also offered prayers at various temples.
YSRCP workers and leaders have been offering prayers at churches, darghas and also temples for the welfare of the charismatic leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The YSRCP leaders said the well wishers of the YSRCP president were offering prayers across the state to pray for his success in all the future endeavours.
Meanwhile, YSRCP MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleged that it's only because of the CBI conspiracy that the YSRC president has been made a scapegoat. He expressed hope that Jagan will come out clean and will persistently fight for the problems of the people.
In the presence of Karunakar Reddy, Jagan's followers also offered 1,116 coconuts to Lord Balaji at Tirupati seeking the Lord's blessings for YS jagan.
