YSRCP Wants Speaker To Disqualify 21 Defectors

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy  - Sakshi Post

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday asked the speaker if Chandrababu would be allowed to enter into the new Legislative Assembly building despite the audio and video evidence of trying to buy out TRS MLAs in Telangana. He said how could Chandrababu, who snatched away 21 YSRCP MLAs using allurements, be allowed into the new assembly building.

In an open letter to AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad, he said the shifting to the new assembly building at Velagapudi happened only to save Chandrababu, who was caught on tape trying to lure the TRS MLA. He also criticised the speaker for not disqualifying the defectors.

The letter has been released by MLAs Adimulapu Suresh and YVisweswara Reddy. They also said the Government was trying to muzzle the Oppostion and has even suspended YSRCP MLA RK Roja for one year.

They asked the Speaker to ensure that such unsavoury incidents do not recur in the new assembly building.
