YSRCP to sweep Seemandhra seats

YSR Congress Party is going to get about 48 percent of votes in Seemandhra region in the next general elections, according to a survey conducted by India Today and CVoter.

YSRCP in Seemandhra and TRS in Telangana are going to get majority of seats in their respective regions as per the survey. “The statement that AP is a bastion of Congress party’ will soon be history”, said the survey.

The incumbent Congress party will get wiped out in both the regions in spite of taking the initiative to divide Andhra Pradesh.  

YSRCP is going to get 18 Lok Sabha seats out of 25 in Seemandhra region and TRS will get 14 Lok Sabha seats out of 17 in Telangana region in the next elections.

Fortunes of Telugu Desam Party will also suffer in the upcoming elections.  As per the survey, TDP will get 30 percent of votes and BJP will get 3 percent of votes in the elections.

The survey was conducted on February 18 and 19 at various places in AP. It added that YSRCP has chances of bettering its figures before elections.  

During the survey, some voters also pointed out that had Y.S.Rajasekahra Reddy been alive, bifurcation would have never taken place.  The survey revealed that the leader is immensely admired by both Seemandhra and Telangana people.
