Condemning the false news being spread by vested interests that the Party candidate has withdrawn from the Kunool MLC poll fray, the YSR Congress has said that it will complain to the concerned officials if a rejoinder not issued.

“The wrong information being spread by a news channel has been damaging and derogatory in nature and we will bring this to the notice of the concerned officials if the error is not rectified immediately,” party MLA SV Mohan Reddy told reporters on Monday.

Though the victory of our candidate is a foregone conclusion, TDP is resorting to all sorts of tricks in the bag to spread misinformation and level baseless allegations against us. Congress Party announcing that it will support YSR Congress. This gives a clear cut edge as we also have the support of MIM and an independent, he said.

“We condemn the news that was beamed by a news channel and will complain to the Election Commission if there are no corrective measures,” he said.

TDP has been misusing official machinery and the complaints from our side were not being received by the police. Yet with numbers on our side, the victory of YSRCP in the Kurnool MLC polls is just a formality, he said.
