YSRCP sarpanch shot dead in Anantapur

The spate of attacks on YSRCP activists and leaders continues unabated in Andhra Pradesh. Another YSRCP grassroots level worker was brutally done to death in Anantapur district on Monday.

Hanumapuram sarpanch and YSRCP leader Vishwanath was killed by some suspected TDP persons near Malyam in the district.
According to reports, Viswanath was shot dead by some miscreants when he was going to Kanekallu. Viswanath died on the spot. The police registered a case.
Condemning the murder, several YSRCP leaders alleged that TDP men were behind the murder. The incident created tension in the district as this is the third murder after the TDP came to power.
