Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday met party leaders and discussed issues regarding YSRCP Plenary scheduled to be held on July 8 and 9 in Vijayawada.

Among the issues discussed at the review meeting, were resolutions to be passed in the plenary, state government policies and land scams by TDP leaders. Senior party leaders including Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, MP Vijayasai Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy attended the meeting which lasted for three hours.

Later, addressing the media Botsa Satyanarayana said resolutions and arrangements for the plenary topped the discussions at the meeting. He also stated that a 'maha dharna' will be held in Visakhapatnam on June 22 under the leadership of YS Jagan to demand a CBI probe into the land scam that rocked the state. The YSRCP leader alleged that the land scam had the blessing of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh. "Therefore, there is a need for CBI probe which will bring out the real culprits to book. The SIT investigation announced by DGP Sambasiva Rao will not give any results," Botsa Satyanarayana added. "Dasapalla lands which were in the eye of the land scam will be inspected by YS Jagan," he said.

He called on all political parties and social welfare organisations to participate in the 'maha dharna' and make it a grand success.
