YSRCP pays homage to Jyotirao Phule

YSRCP leaders paid respect to Mahatama Jyotirao Phule on his 124 death anniversary at Lotus pond, headquaters of YSRCP. Party's important leaders PSV Prasad and others garlanded the portrait of the legendary freedom fighter and social reformer.


YSRCP Leaders spoke about the achievements of Phule for masses.  Jyotirao Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule were pioneers of women's education in India. His work extended to many fields including education, agriculture, caste system, women and widow uplift and removal of untouchability.
YSRCP leaders recalled Phule's efforts to educate women and the lower castes as well as the masses.
