YSRCP objects to TDP remarks - Sakshi Post

Taking strong objection to the TDP remarks and allegations leveled during the Mahanadu vis-à-vis capital city, YSR Congress has said that it has never opposed the capital formation but only objected to the forcible takeover of fertile land from farmers and the ruling party taking the issue to demonic proportions will boomerang as it has been running on dual standards.

“The language used by the TDP is shameful act,” said party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu. Likening Chandrababu Naidu to demon Hiranyaksha who folded up the earth in greed and avarice, he said Chandrababu was trying to take away fertile lands belonging to the farmers in the name of AP capital city. He said the YSRCP, like Varaha incarnation of the Lord, will rip open the double standards of the TDP.

He said Chandrababu has double standards in land acquisition. In case of Osmania University lands, he opposes the land acquisition, but in case of AP capital land acquisition, is unabashedly backs it.

“Mahanadu, the party convention, should normally discuss and review the Government performance during the past year but here the ruling party confined itself to use the plank to boast of imaginary victories and opposition bashing,” he said.

On the Party decision to vote for TRS in the MLC elections, he said; “that is the best option available in the present circumstances.”
