YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy moves notice on discussion on special status in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy on Thursday gave a notice for discussion on AP Reorganization Act and special category status (SCS) in Rajya Sabha.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari on Wednesday convened an all-party meeting after the ruckus created in the Upper House over the private bill introduced by Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao.

TDP MP Sujana Chowdhury demanded for a discussion on special status, while asking the NDA government to come out with its action plan in this regard. TDP is considering a plan to serve notices avoiding voting after the discussion on special status.
