YSRCP MLA turns a savior for 13-year-old

YSRCP MLA Desai Tippa Reddy saved a critically ill girl by performing a complicated digestive tract surgery in a government hospital. This life-giving act of the MLA is being praised in all quarters.

A 13-year-old girl was brought to the Madanapalle Area Hospital with critical digestive tract illness that needed urgent surgical procedures to be performed.

However, the doctors at the area hospital felt the surgery was a difficult one and decided against performing the surgery due to the high risk involved. They asked the parents to shift the girl to some private hospital.

However, the parents, who were from economically poor background , could not take her to a private hospital. Meanwhile, the MLA, a well-known general surgeon in Madanapalle region, came to know of this.

He rushed to the hospital and took stock of the situation. He then decided that he would perform the surgery himself.

Assisted by the general surgeon and the assistant civil surgeon, he successfully performed the surgery and removed the damaged portion of alimentary tract.

The locals in general and the parents of the patient in particular are all praise for the MLA for his initiative.

The MLA said it was his duty to serve the people and that he would continue to serve the people both as a legislator and as a medical professional.
