YSRCP Mass Contact Programme From August 10
Ahead of the October Padayatra by YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Party would hold mass contact programmes in all the 175 assembly constituencies in two phases from August 10 to create awareness among the people about the nine assurances of the Party and also highlight the failures of the TDP Government.
Releasing the pamphlet that explains the nine promises, YSR Congress leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said that party cadre will hold meetings and discuss the need for the nine promises and the slogan ‘Anna Vasthunnadu.. Navaratnalu thesthunnadu’ from August 10 to 25.
In the second phase, a second pamphlet would be distributed in each constituency from September 2, coinciding the death anniversary of YSR. This campaign will run for a period of 35 days.
With the state government failing to fulfill any of its poll promises and farmers, women groups, students and others being pushed into hardships, it is imperative that the main opposition party should instill confidence among all sections as they are aghast with the priorities of the state government which is always loaded in favour of its favoured few.
Like YSR, the YSR Congress will look beyond political affiliations, caste or creed and take everyone eligible into the fold of the scheme, he said. The state government has miserably failed on its promise of housing, he said.
Senor leaders, Botsa Satyanarayana, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, K Parthasaradhi and others present at the pamphlet release programme.
