YSRCP Letter To AP Bhavan To Permit Hunger Strike

YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy - Sakshi Post

YSR congress party MP YV Subba Reddy has written an open letter to Andhra Bhavan resident commissioner in New Delhi to permit his party leaders to go on hunger strike at its premises. The YSRCP MPs have called for a hunger strike to build pressure on the government to grant Special Category Status to AP.

As announced by the party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSRCP MPs will resign on the last day of budget session, followed by a protest at the Andhra Bhavan. The protests will also continue across the state by the party leaders and students at the universities.

Along with YSRCP MP Subba Reddy, party leader Botsa Satyanarayana and another MP Mekapati Ram Mohan also requested the commissioner to allow them to protest at the Andhra Bhavan. The Hunger strike is aimed at achieving Special Category status to AP at all costs.

Earlier, the two opposition parties had served No trust vote notices in Lok Sabha. However, the debate on the notice is yet to begin in Parliament.
