YSRCP leader hacked, another critically injured in Kurnool

The spate of attacks on the YSRPC leaders continued to unabated ever since TDP came to power in the state.

Another YSRCP leader was brutally done to death on Thursday.
In a deadly attack carried out by unidentified miscreants, YSRCP leader Prabhakar Naidu was died on the spot.
Prabhakar Naidu and his supporter Bhaskar were rammed into with a tractor and attacked by TDP men with sickles at the Talujuru mines near Banagapalle in Kurnool district.
Prabhakar sustained severe injuries and died at the spot, while Bhaskar suffered major injuries.
The locals rushed Bhaskar to a nearby hospital where his health condition is stated to be critical. The assailants escaped from the spot.
The seriously injured YSRCP leader alleged that TDP men attacked them. The Bangapalle police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to a government hospital in Kurnool.
Sources said that Nagesh, a local TDP worker, was involved in the attack.
