YSRCP Leader Gudivada Amarnath Slams Ganta Srinivasa Rao
Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party leader Gudivada Amarnath has attacked HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao for changing political affiliations and criticised him of being an opportunist during the time of elections.
Addressing the media at the YSRCP Office here, Amarnath said: "Ganta is not just a 420, but he is also 840." He asked if Ganta would contest next elections as a TDP candidate as the minister was known for switching loyalties and thus there was a high possibility of him ditching TDP as well.
He accused Ganta of being the king-pin of major land scams and went on to say that this was informed by none other than his minister colleague Ayyana Patrudu. Amarnath asked where was Ganta when Hud Hud cyclone struck Visakhapatnam and devastated the entire city. "He was not to be seen," he added.

Amarnath mocked Ganta for his commenting against YSRCP when he was the one to run away from Vizag when the port city had been hit by a cyclone. He mentioned that TDP and its leader do not have any moral ground to speak about the intended resignations by YSRCP MPs. He pointed out that TDP was playing dramas just to seek people's sympathies and they were not really concerned about special status to the state. He added that the entire state is aware of the YSRCP's commitment to achieve special status for AP.
