YSRCP leader dies after SI manhandles him

A YSRCP leader died of heart attack after an SI beat him at a police station in Prakasam district.
YSRCP leader and President of Giddaluru Cooperative Society, Y.Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy (48), died on the spot when the SI Srinivasa Rao manhandled him.
There was a dispute between Owner of Hero Honda Showroom Tota Subba Rao and a resident of DRR Plaza Dr.Harinath Reddy and both of them lodged complaints against each other.
The police official misbehaved the wife of Harinath Reddy. Knowing about this, the YSRCP leader went to the police station. Angered over YSRCP leader's questioning, the SI manhandled Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy suffered a cardiac stroke and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. He was died on way to the hospital.
The incident took place at 12.25 am on Tuesday.
Knowing about the death, MLA M.Ashok Reddy and other party leaders staged a dharna opposite to the police station.
