YSRCP IT Wing Says TDP Is Trying To Muzzle Social Media
YSRCP IT Cell incharge Challa Madhusudana Reddy on Tuesday appeared before the Amaravati police for questioning in connection with the TDP Government's crackdown on social media. After questioning him, the police asked him to appear again on April 30.
Reddy denied that Ravikiran was a member of the YSRCP. He said Ravikiran was one of the countless supporters of the YSRCP. He also categorically said that the YSRCP did not believe in uploading obscene and objectionable posts and said that it was the TDP official website that was putting highly slanderous and downright insulting posts against YS Jagan and his family members. He said he would not be cowed down by the TDP's blatant attempt to muzzle the social media.
He also pointed out that the YSRCP would continue to back Ravikiran. He said though he had lodged a complaint against the TDP official website for its objectionable and slanderous comments against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the police did not take the complaint citing flimsy reasons.
Meanwhile, Ravikiran was also called for questioning at Amaravathi. He told the police that he had cartoons and comments on not just TDP, but also all political parties.
