YSRCP flays growing attacks on Dalits

The State-level SC Cell of YSR Congress Party has condemned the growing attacks on Dalits after TDP came to power and demanded to revoke to size of SC sub-plan reduced.

“The meeting has resolved condemning the attacks on dalits during the past one year and also adopted a resolution condemning the State Government reducing  the SC Sub-plan by Rs 5,000 crores,” party SC Cell State President M Nagarjuna told reporters after the meeting at Hyderabad on Monday.

“We demand that the reduced amount should be immediately included in the Sub-plan. The meeting has also condemned the failure of Chandrababu Naidu in fulfilling his poll promises of giving sops to dalits, besides employment and stipend,”he said.

Not a single recruitment was made after TDP has come to power and the meeting has demanded that a notification should be issued by APPSC to provide employment to dalits. The State should also provide allowance to the dalits living in the capital area and take up the housing scheme sincerely, he said.
