YSRCP demands white paper on investments
Demanding a white paper on the quantum of investments TDP Government would bring in from Japan and Singapore, YSR Congress has said Chandrababu Naidu should answer as to why he could not attract investments on a large scale earlier while he was Chief Minister for nine years.
“People had lots of expectations from the Chief Minister’s Japan visit and his talks with various international agencies but the outcome has lost its way in between with Chandrababu Naidu telling that the investments will flow in only after they are convinced with our performance,” party MLA A Suresh told reporters in Hyderabad on Monday.
For the past two months Chandrababu Naidu is on a foreign-visit spree and there is no clarity on the outcome though a publicity campaign is launched. We expected that he would return from Japan with some agreements in power sector setting up 10,000 MW units at various places in the State along with food processing units but he returned empty handed and is telling the Japanese Government will investment on merits.
“This shows that the meetings with external trade organizations and banks yielded no results and it is time TDP government releases a white paper on the investments it would bring in the coming four years. The nine year term of TDP lapsed without any major investment despite hosting Partnership Summits and countless foreign trips,” he said.
When he could not get MoUs in the united State how can he get it in the divided state is the pointed question he has to answer and how many crores of investments are in the offing should be revealed through a white paper.
Learning Japanese language is not a new concept he said and added that is why the TDP government not exploring the NRI investments. He also took serious objection for dubbing the party dharnas as events.
