YSRCP Demands Suspension Of 22 Turncoat MLAs

Vijayawada: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) demanded suspension of 22 turncoat MLAs from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

Addressing the media, on Sunday, the party leaders V Vijaisai Reddy and Umareddy Venkateshwarulu said that YSRCP wrote a second letter on the issue to the Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad. On the issue of Dendaluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar's suspension from the Assembly, the YSRCP leaders said that he is yet to be disqualified by the Speaker though the High Court awarded him two-year jail term. Complaints in this regard were sent to the Assembly Speaker, Assembly Secretary and the Election Commission. The Speaker is expected to act as per the directions of the Supreme Court on the issue, they said.

The two leaders reminded that the YSRCP will move a no confidence motion against the Central government on March 21.
