YSRCP continues to grow young - Sakshi Post

Young blood continues to flow into the YSRCP. In one single day today, at least three young leaders walked into the YSRCP fold dumping their parent organizations. Surprisingly, the three leaders belong to three different regions in the State.

While Chintalapudi MLA Madda Rajesh Kumar, who deserted the Congress to join the YSRCP belongs to West Godavari in Coastal Andhra, Sarathchandra Reddy, son of former MLA Tarimella Ranga Reddy is from Ananthapur district in Rayalaseema region, and Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, who was sailing with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as its youth wing leader till yesterday dumped the TRS to move along with Jaganmohan Reddy.
Sarathchandra Reddy chose to tread into the YSRCP in the presence of Sharmila at a public meeting, Balakrishna Reddy preferred to join the party in the presence of a massive gathering at the historic town of Bhoingir and with the blessings of Vijayamma. The Chintalapudi MLA, however, sent his resignation letter to the Assembly Speaker and would soon be part of the YSR Congress Party organization.
More such leaders, irrespective of party affiliations, are likely to take a decision soon to come into the YSRCP fold as the party alone appears to be the beckon of hope for the youth in the State. “Things like Jagan being in jail will not prevent us from marching into the party. With all the inspiration that the late YSR had infused into us, we will strive to bring the party to power and serve the people of the State. We are confident of ushering in the golden era of YSR,” a young leader, who is all set to switch over to YSRC soon said today.
That in one single day today, leaders of the stature of MLA Madda Rajesh Kumar and Jitta Balakrishna Reddy joined the party speaks how fast the party is growing strong and attracting young blood, said a senior Congress leader. It is not the Congress alone. Leaders from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and other political outfits too will soon make a beeline to the party, said a confident YSRCP leader in Hyderabad.
