YSRCP condemns political murders

Condemning the heinous murder of its party leader in Anantapur district, YSR Congress has demanded an inquiry into the political killings after TDP has taken over the reins of the State.

“We condemn the killing of our party mandal convener Prasad Reddy in Anantapur district and demand an inquiry into all the political killings after TDP formed the government,” party spokesperson Vasiredddy Padma told reporters on Wednesday. The law and order situation has worsened in the State with YSRCP leaders and workers being targeted by the ruling party leaders and their henchmen. The incident at Anantapur district taking place at the Tehsildar office shows that the criminal activities are carried out in government offices with the help of government machinery,

“Government offices have become a haven for carrying out criminal activities and the State is encouraging political murders during the past nine months. The killers have attacked our party leader inside the mandal office which shows the vindictive attitude and the State patronage,” she said and demanded an inquiry into all the political murders after TDP has come to power.
