YSRCP condemns attack on its MLA

The YSR Congress Party on Friday strongly condemned the attack on its MLA from Aswaraopet Tati Venkateswarlu by TDP men. The supporters of Eluru MP Maganti Babu’s followers beat up the MLA on Thursday and the MLA was injured during the scuffle.
Condemning the attack, YSRCP leader Gattu Ramachandra Rao demanded the arrest of the TDP MP and his followers who attacked the YSRCP MLA.
He alleged that the TDP leaders are creating rift between the people of the two states for their political benefit.
He also said that they would soon meet Telangana CM KCR and Governor ESL Narasimhan over the attack.
Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao called up Venkateswarlu and enquired about his health following the attack.
