YSRCP activists court arrest over removal of YSR statue

YSRCP activists staged a dharna protesting against the removal of the statue of Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Vijayawada East area on Saturday.

The authorities removed the late leader’s statue on Friday night. Protesting against this, YSRCP workers, led by East Constituency incharge Bhava Kumar.

The police promptly arrested them. They were shifted to Patamata police station. YSRCP leader Vangaveeti Radha called on the arrested party activists at the police station.
