YSRCP activist dies in TDP attack in Kadapa

YSRCP activist Gangi Reddy died in the attack by the leaders of Telugu Desam Party. Another activist is seriously injured in the incident that took place at Gutakavanipalli village in Lakkireddypalle mandal in YSR district on Sunday morning.

The incident happened during the campaigning for MPTC and ZPTC elections in the state.

TDP leaders and activists attacked the YSRCP activists in the village.

Police said that Gangi Reddy died on the spot. The injured activist was admitted in Rayachoti hospital.

The tense situation prevailed in the village.

Police arrested several persons relating to the incident.
