YSR-implemented schemes were not burdensome

  None of the welfare schemes had taxes or high rates during late chief minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy's regime, said YSR Congress party leader, Sharmila on Saturday.

As a part of her padayatra titled 'Maro Praja Prasthanam' Sharmila reached Tirugandlapalli village in Munugodu constituency today.
She received a warm reception from party workers, supporters and the public. Addressing a huge gathering, Sharmila said: "The present government is levying surcharge after surcharge putting enormous burden on the public."
The electricty bills have increased by three times, she alleged, adding, this had made the common man's life miserable.
She also said that YSR had implemented welfare schemes like Arogyasri, fee reimbursement, pension for the benefit of the poor without levying any extra charges.
