YSR govt helped us, farmers openly tell CM

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had to face some embarrassing moments during  Indiramma Bata meeting held at Shamirpeta in Rangareddy District on Monday.

A large number of farmers directly poured out their problems to the CM.

According to reports, the farmers said the villages in their areas were going through hardship as power supply was erratic and for over 16 hours a day there was no power. The promised seven-hour supply was never implemented.

They said  they were not able to irrigate their lands regularly and that was leading to crop loss, which would ultimately push them in to more debt.

They also complained that none of the welfare schemes initiated by Late YSR were available to them.  The anguished farmers boldly told the CM that "we were happy under YSR's government."
