YS Vijayamma's tour goes by 'Tuni' sentiment
YSR Congress Party honorary president YS Vijayamma, on Monday will embark on a special leg of 'Jana Bheri'. Bowing to the wishes of her party leaders, YS Vijayamma has started the second innings of her campaign from Tuni, a place which carries immense sentimental value for the YSR family.
Late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy launched the prestigious Indiramma mass housing scheme from S Annavaram of Tuni mandal in East Godavari district. In 2009, YSR, kick started his election campaign from Tuni, and went to to become the Chief Minister for the second time. Thus, YSRCP leaders consider the place extremely lucky, and urged YS Vijayamma to start her tour from here.
As per the schedule, she will tour Tuni , Pattipadu and Jaggampeta constituencies on Monday.
Addressing a large gathering at Perumallapuram, Vijayamma told people not to believe TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. She added that Chandrababu's promises of loan waiver and job per family are false.
"Chandrababu Naidu's claims of loan waiver will not materialise as the loans run upto Rs 1.27 lakh crores. Moreover, loan waiver is a Central subject and the state government cannot interfere in it. His promise of providing one job per family is also a mirage as there are over 3.5 crore houses in the state. He did not even bring a single Rs 100 crore project to the State," she said.
She added that 'Chandrababu' is a synonym for 'back stabbing.'
Vijayamma also said that YS Jagan's first few signatures after becoming Chief Minister will include, free education to two children of a family, increase pension amount to Rs 700, setting up of Market Stabilisation Fund, waiver of DWACRA loans, decentralisation of governance, providing 150 units of power for Rs 100 and building 10 lakh years per year and make the state free of power cuts by 2019.
After visiting Ontimavidi junction, Tondangi, A Kottapalli, Gopalapatnam and Annavaram, Vijaamma is expected to address a public meeting in Prattipadu at 4 pm today. Later she will reach Jaggampeta and likely to address a public meting at 6 pm.
