YS Jagan's deeksha for special status on Sept 26

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to undertake a day-long fast at Guntur on September 26 to demand special state status to Andhra Pradesh.

The party leadership, which met at Lotus Pond office on Wednesday, decided to undertake the fast on the issue. The party has also decided to complete the constitution of party committees at the earliest. YS Jagan asked the party leaders to expedite the process of setting up of the committees.

Initially, the party wanted to take up the fast on September 15. But, it decided against in view of  Vinayaka Chavithi festival.
