YS Jagan Upholds Democratic Values: Peddireddy
Nandyal: YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only leader who stands by his words and adheres strictly the democratic principles in Andhra Pradesh, says YSRCP senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy..
Speaking to the media in Nandyal, Ramachandra Reddy said that by asking those seeking to join YSRCP to resign their existing positions, YS Jagan has set an example in parliamentary democracy. The YSR Congress leader took a broadside at AP Chief MInister N Chandrababu Naidu for continuing to keep the defected MLAs from YSR Congress Party in his party and for not disqualifying them.
As many as 21 YSR Congress MLAs joined TDP, but no action has been taken so far. In contrast, TDP MLC Silpa Chakrapani Reddy joined the YSRCP only after quitting all the posts. He also found fault with TDP leaders for distorting the statements made by Jagan at the Nandyal public meeting.
