YS Jagan Tweets Support To Move To Launch Stir For Special Category Status

Inspired by the successful Jallikattu stir, the youth of Andhra Pradesh too are getting ready to launch an agitation to force the Centre to accord special state status to Andhra Pradesh.

Quite symbolically, if Marina Beach was the state for the Jallikattu stir, Vizag's RK Beach would be the setting for the Special Category State agitation.

The YSRCP has called upon the people to stage a candle rally at the RK Beach on January 26. Already this stir has created a buzz in the social media with netizens extending voluntary support. The messages are already going viral.

On Monday, YSRCP chief YS Jagan said he welcomed any programme or event demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh. He called upon the youth to come forward, support and make this protest a big success.
