YS Jagan to undertake deeksha at Mangalagiri - Sakshi Post

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would undertake two-day deeksha on June 3 and 4 at Mangalagiri to highlight the failures of the TDP Government which has acquired anti-incumbency even before it has completed one year in office as it has failed to fulfill the election promises disappointing all sections of people.

“The two-day deeksha will highlight mainly the issues of failure in implementing the loan waiver to farmers and DWCRA women groups, providing jobs to the youth and the distributing the stipend besides forcible land acquisition and inability to get the special status to the State,” party senor leader Ummaredy Vekateswarlu told reporters on Thursday.

Though there were numerous promises made by Chandrababu Naidu, which were not fulfilled, we will take up the core issues which have affected the lifeline of various sections and its one year rule is full of lies and deception, he said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had undertaken a similar deeksha at Tanuku earlier and this time too he will voice the feelings of the affected sections during the two-day deeksha.

TDP is going ahead with the land pooling system using force and by bringing in a GO which is very draconian in nature. Though the Centre could not get through the Ordinance to amend the Land Acquisition Act, as there was stiff resistance, TDP has boldly issued a GO carrying the amends and has done away with the two clauses which provide security to the farmers.

On the special status issue, it has failed to convince the Centre and get the package. Though TDP and BJP have assured the special status from the same dais, nothing is forthcoming as the Centre is disinterested and the State is not broaching the issue, he said.

The two day deeksha will highlight these issues and reflect the feelings of the various sections of people that are affected due to the policies of the TDP, he said.
