YS Jagan to take up deeksha on June 3,4 - Sakshi Post

The two –day deeksha of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would be held on June 3 and 4 between Vijayawada and Guntur.

The deeksha will highlight the failures of the TDP’s one year rule, which failed in implementing the core poll promises besides forceful land acquisition for the capital city.
“The leader of Opposition will sit on a two-day deeksha in protest against the TDP’s failure in implementing the poll promises. They include the loan waiver to farmers and DWCRA women and provision of employment to the youth or giving stipend if they do not get jobs. The government is acquiring the land from the farmers,” party spokesperson K Parthasarathi told reporterson Wednesday.
The venue of the deeksha will be announced soon and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will voice the concerns of all affected sections during the two day deeksha.
Making a mockery of loan waiver, the State has released Rs 6,650 crores while dues stood at Rs 87,000 crores on the day of Chandababu Naidu’s swearing in. During his one year term, not a single promise was fulfilled and the DWCRA women groups got a raw deal while the youth are disappointed as they did not get the promised jobs or the stipend, he said.
The state has acquired 33,000 acres of land from farmers using force and is all set to take away another 12,000 acres of land depriving the farmers and farm hands of their livelihood.
“Holding a Vijaya Yatra amid all these failures is ridiculous,” he said.
