YS Jagan To Launch 6-Month Padayatra From Idupulapaya
Anantapur: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will begin his Padayatra on November 6 from Idupulapaya to Ichchapuram on the northeastern tip of Andhra Pradesh, covering over 3,000km in six months.
Announcing the schedule at the 10th Yuva Bheri programme on Tuesday, YS Jagan said: “My padayatra will begin from Idupulapaya, go through Chittoor and end at Ichchapuram, covering the entire state. The padayatra will continue for six months and cover about 3,000km. The Yuva Bheri programme, aiming at highlighting the importance of Special Category Status (SCS), will be taken up by the local leadership. Constituency coordinators will take over the youth progamme,” he said amid a thunderous cheer from the students.
The Padayatra is a mass contact programme aimed at highlighting the failures of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s government and enlightening them as to how the Nava Ratnas would benefit the people, he said.
