YS Jagan slams attacks on YSRCP workers

Attacks on the YSRCP leaders and activists have become uncommon in Andhra Pradesh, said YSR Congress Party president and Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday.

The YSRCP chief visited the Osmania hospital and enquired about the health condition of YSRCP activist Putta Dastagiri Reddy, who was injured in an attack by TDP men.

Speaking to the media, YS Jagan said "There has been no response from the TDP government on the issue of assaults on YSRCP activists. The TDP is playing vindictive politics."
He further said that the ruling party members have been attacking YSRCP members and are filing cases against the victims. "This is the height of vindictiveness," he said. Dastagiri Reddy was accosted by TDP members and sustained severe injuries when he was attacked by them at Jiyompeta of Kamalapuram in YSR Kadapa district.
The spate of attacks on YSRCP activists continues unabated in Andhra Pradesh.
