YS Jagan releases People’s Ballot - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Taking the bull by is horns, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released a Peoples’  Ballot citing 100 assurances that Chandrababu Naidu has given during the elections and asked the people to ranks his performance on the count of the fulfilled promises.

“This Ballot reflects the mood of the State and what the people are thinking about the TDP rule in wake of the unfulfilled promises and it will reach everyone and will appear in media for the convenience of the people to vent their feelings on governance of Chandrababu Naidu by marking one of the two options Yes or No to assurances he had given during election,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said while releasing the ballot.

The 100 assurances that went awry have been read out from the venue to which there was overwhelming response on the negative side to Chandrababu Naidu’s performance. “It is of everybody’s knowledge that not a single promise was fulfilled and who was responsible for the plight of the people as farmers, women, students, youth and all sections were deceived by Chandrababu Naidu by going back on his poll promises and they have been bearing the brunt of disrupted domestic economy.

The Special Status to the State which would benefit the multitude of people has been assured by the Centre while splitting the State and Chandrababu Naidu has no voice to raise and seek the just demand from the NDA coalition of which TDP is a partner and his two MPs continue to be in the Union Cabinet.

"{How can such gross injustice be tolerated. Here is the ballot in the hands of people who will judge the performance of the governance of the Chandrababu Naidu in fulfilling the poll promises and they will grade him marks proportionately and the final result will be in the open to know how many marks Chandrababu scored out of 100,” he said.

Asserting that his party is not against the building of capital in any region, but are only opposing the acquisition of multi-crop land, Jagan Mohan Reddy said, this ballot will show what the common man is thinking of the Chandrababu Naidu.

Party leaders and locals, including DWACRA women and farmers took the centre stage and slammed Chandrababu Naidu for his failure to keep up promises and for trying to acquire fertile land by using force for the sake of capital.

“Chandrababu Naidu has not waived the loans and has been putting pressure on us to give up our fertile land for the capital formation. We will not give up our land and are in no position to believe Chandrababu Naidu,” they said.

Many leaders lamented that the State machinery has failed to provide security at the venue where the Leader of Opposition, who holds the rank of a cabinet minister, is undertaking a two-day fast.
