YS Jagan prays for Telugu people's welfare at Simhachalam
YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the Simhachalam Appanna temple in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
The priests of the temple welcomed the YSRCP chief with 'Purnakumbham'. After seeking blessings of the lord, YS Jagan said he prayed for the welfare of the Telugu people.
He also assured that his party would strive to solve the problems of the Simhachalam lands when his party comes to power.
He also visited several temples in Sarada Peetham and took part in Chaturveda Yagam.
Earlier in the day, YSR Congress Party workers gave a warm welcome to Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Vizag Airport and enthusiastically gathered to wish him.
Later, he inspected the damage due to sea shore erosion in Vizag's RK Beach.
Speaking to the media after inspection, the YSRCP chief demanded that at least now the AP government should wake up, examine the beach erosion and recommend suitable measures to arrest it.
" Chandrababu has been busy with foreign jaunts. He has visited Singapore, Japan and Dubai. These countries use Head Grain Break Water technology to avoid such problems. Why cannot he adopt same technology here?," YS Jagan asked.
He further warned that if the tides are as high as 0.6 meters, nearly 287 villages surrounding the beach area would be submerged and over 13 lakh persons would be rendered homeless.
He also interacted with locals at the beach and asked the Government to find out permanent solution to arrest beach erosion.
