YS Jagan Pays Rich Tributes To Jyotirao Phule

YS Jagan offers respects to Jyotirao Phule in Kurnool district - Sakshi Post

Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday paid rich tributes to social reformer and a staunch advocate of social equality Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. Before setting out for his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, YS Jagan offered floral tributes to Mahatma Phule. He recalled the contribution of the great reformer in the fight against social discrimination and superstitions. He said Phule has spent all his life to achieve social equality. He said Phule strove for a caste-less society.


On Sunday, he paid rich tributes to Babasaheb Ambedkar on the National Constitution Day. He said on his Twitter handle: Lets all unite to protest against the mocking of our democracy and strive to uphold the ideals of our Constitution - Justice, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, especially in respect to backward classes & other downtrodden communities.
