YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra

The AP Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is progressing at a smooth pace in Anantapur. The YSRCP Chief saw for himself the suffering of cotton farmers in Veerannapalle. He was moved by the plight of women in the region who shared their problems related to cotton farming and the non-waiver of loans by the Chandrababu Naidu government. They told him about not getting a remunerative price for their produce and being denied pensions.

The women cried their hearts out about having to starve because they were not paid even the minimum wages. YS Jagan also learned that the children in the region had to be forced into agricultural labour because of penury. The YSRCP chief turned emotional when the women showed him their children who were deprived of a happy childhood.

YS Jagan assured them that children would be provided free education once the people's government was formed. People in large numbers continue to join the Praja Sankalpa Yatra to highlight their problems under the TDP regime to the AP Leader of Opposition.
