YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Asks Officials To Distribute Seeds to Farmers Without Thumb Impression

YSR District: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday suggested officials to distribute coupons for groundnut seeds based on farmers' pass books. YS Jagan has demanded that farmers should be provided with enough quantity of seeds without insisting on their thumb impression.

YS Jagan on second day of his district tour, interacted with Pendlimarri villagers. Groundnut farmers briefed YS Jagan about their problems. Farmers complained to him that they were given seed coupons and took thumb impressions by the government officials.

Expressing his concern over the plight of farmers, YS Jagan said: "Farmers are facing a series of problems as the TDP government is ignoring them. The thumb impression condition is causing a lot of inconvenience to farmers. Why should farmers struggle for seeds?"

YS Jagan has further assured farmers of his help all the time. Farmers felt happy over the YS Jagan's directive to officials to distribute seeds without taking thumb impressions.
