YS Jagan Meets YSRCP Leaders To Decide Strategies For Special Status to AP

Nellore: The Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly and YSRCP chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy convened a crucial meeting with the party leaders in Peddakonduru village in Kaligiri mandal, Nellore district to review the present political scenario in the state.

YS Jagan, who is on his 6-month-log padayatra — Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district, met up with the district YSRCP leaders, MPs, Convenors to carve out a strategy to fight for special status. Several issues pertaining to the allocations made to Andhra Pradesh in the recently announced Union Budget 2018, the injustice meted out to the state were key topics of discussion during the meeting.

YS Jagan said that the TDP government, which has been mortgaging the people's interest for the past four years, is now enacting dramas in the national capital just to buy time before next elections in 2019.

YS Jagan expressed his ire over the way the TDP MPs have been celebrating and conducting Vijayotsav rallies even though the Centre had done nothing to benefit the state.

Spelling out strategies to intensify protest against the Centre to demand special status, YS Jagan asked the party leaders and workers not to mellow down and fight for the cause.
