YS Jagan Meets Groundnut Farmers in Gorantla

Anantapur: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy poohpoohed Chandrababu’s claims that he had introduced the rain guns that cause rains in drought-hit areas.

YS Jagan, who is currently touring Anantapur district, interacted with groundnut farmers in Gorantla. On the occasion, he said the rain guns have been in use for over 10 years. He charged Chandrababu Naidu with not doing anything till the groundnut crop dried up completely. He said the Government is now using rain guns with a view to evade input subsidy and crop insurance remittances.

He demanded that the Government provide input subsidy to the groundnut farmers.
