YS Jagan first to reach many fisher-folk villages - Sakshi Post

* Goes to every house in Peda Jalaripeta

Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy once again proved that he is a doughty fighter who shuns the comfort of ivory towers.

YS Jagan has been making a whirlwind tour of the Hudhud cyclone-hit areas of Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. The bad roads and even hillocks are not stopping YS Jagan from consoling the affected people.

The YSRCP chief had visited Peda Jalaripeta, which is inaccessible presently even by four or two-wheelers. Jagan had to go on foot to meet the people and instilled confidence among them. He visited every house and spoke to nearly 3000 people while walking on the sands of the seashore village.
Incidentally, Jagan was the first person who visited the shipping harbor which was severely affected by the cyclone. He walked for about 2 km along the coastline. At several places including in China Gadili and in Peda Gadili, he was seen climbing hillocks to meet the people. He also went to visit houses on hill slopes to personally see their plight.

YSRCP relief material rally flagged off

Jagan has been working in day in and day out to help the cyclone affected people.
On Thursday, YS Jagan flagged off a rally of party workers carrying rice and other essential items to the cyclone-hit people.
He visited Dharma Nagar in Vishakapatnam and interacted with the people. Several tonnes of ration and other food items have been collected with the help of the party MLA Chirla Jaggi Reddy. The relief material has reached Vizag.
YS Jagan, who has been interacting with the cyclone victims to know their problems post-cyclone, is coordinating with the party leaders and other voluntary agencies to help them.
